Guglielmo Troiano

Information Technology Analyst and Jurist. Member of the Bar of Milan.

Guglielmo Troiano has been working on information technology since half 90's, studying e-commerce, office automation, database administration and network security. He has been living in Milan since October 2000, where he has worked for over 3 years (until 2004) as information system analyst by an ICT company beloging to FIAT group.

Juris doctor in 2005 at University of Milan and Master in Internet Law in 2007 (Master in Diritto della Rete) at the University of Padua.

He is currently working on Intellectual Property, Copyright and Privacy Law. Following his natural professional and accademic attitude, he preferes all studies finalized to Free/Libre Open Source Software protection, interoperability and tecnological standards.

He co-operates mostly with law firms and lawyers in Milan offering his legal consulting to IT/TLC Italians and foreign companies.

He also co-operates as scholar at University of Milan (Informatica Giuridica chair of Prof. Giovanni Ziccardi). Additionally, he is a blogger, as well as a member of Free Software Foundation Europe, NetJus and Legal Drama Society.
